sub forums, and iminent iPlayer radio changes

Changes to BBC iPlayer Radio
I realise it is early days yet, but I suspect changes are coming to iPlayer shortly .
I think for UK users within days we may see Radio Output on a new player, and then at a later date another console being introduced. So that may mean reconsidering some of the titles.

Now I know Matt our host will be aware of this but see this BBC blog

    Other ideas
  • a useful links section,
    - maybe as a sticky thread, at least as an interim solution
    - a proper links section may make more sense
  • a miscellaneous or off topic thread or sub forum
    - there are bound to be discussions that will not fit neatly in other sections

I think most of this conversation would fit better in the iPlayer TV >> On a Computer forum so I've moved it there :).

Is there any news on bbb iplayer improving the length of time you can catchup - itv and 4od are far better. I have been caught out by starting to watch a series only for it to dissapear before the end :( At least 4 od you can watch series from the beginning and itv at least tell you how many days left to watch. Can't see this on BBc iplayer - unless I have missed it??

Thanks
binky

Hi binky,
Quite a few programmes on iPlayer are series stacked so all episodes stay available until 7 days after the final episode is broadcast.

The Available until date is always shown in the "More Programme Information" section.
