issue with bbc iplayer (laptop)

been using bbc iplayer on my laptop for almost 12 months , but the past 2 weeks i can watch live streaming programs , but its not playing any catch up programs , keeps coming up with a try again message , i have no issues with itv or channel 4 versions . any help would be great cheers .
