Hitachi HXT12U and 40HXT16U TVs iPlayerb App Disappeared

Recently purchased Hitachi 40 inch and 42 inch TVs have built-in Smart Apps pre-loaded. You cannot add you own apps or delete them but this included BBC iPlayer and was working finr for last 3 weeks. Now the BBC iPlayer App has disappeared from the SmartVue Menu. All other apps still work and a new BBC NEWS TEST app appeared. Is this Hitachi removing support for BBC iPlayer as I know it has gone on two different models of TV in two different houses on different internet providers????
