error loading subtitles

hello everyone
i'm watching bbc iplayer on my imac using beeps and everything was ok until the last few days after i registered my account;
but now i'm experiencing the lack of the subtitles because when i click on the "S" on the player bar i can read "error loading subtitles"
i really really love bbc programs and its high cultural level but i'm not so good in understanding english and i would like to improve the language
so the subs would really help
could anyone help,please?
